Terms of service

Last updated 18 October 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Page Mix ("we", "us") for your use of Page Mix (the "Service"). By creating an account you agree to them. If you use the Service for a business, you confirm you're authorised to accept these terms for it.

1. What the Service does

You upload your own Shopify theme and give the Service the addresses of one or more web pages you use as visual references: a page whose layout guides the structure (the "format page") and, depending on the type of generation, pages whose look guides the styling (the "style references"). Using AI, the Service designs an original page as editable Shopify theme sections and adds it (a "page") to a copy of your theme as a product template. Every piece of text and every image in the page is a placeholder for you to replace with your own; the reference pages' text, images, logos and branding are not included. You can preview each page and download the copy of your theme to upload to your own store. Your uploaded theme is used only to build these copies. Any intermediate version the Service makes while working is internal and isn't delivered.

2. Only use pages you have the right to use

Web pages are usually protected by copyright, and the names, logos and get-up on them may be protected as trade marks or by the law of passing off. The format page, and any text, images and branding in it, must be:

Style references are used only to measure general styling (such as fonts, colours, corner shapes and spacing); their content isn't copied into your pages. You still must not use the Service to imitate another business's distinctive look, to impersonate anyone, or to mislead customers. Each time you start a generation you confirm this, and we keep a record (the time, your IP address and the wording you agreed to). The Service replaces the reference pages' text and images with placeholders, but you are responsible for checking everything before you publish it. Page Mix isn't affiliated with Shopify or with the owners of any page you use as a reference.

3. You're responsible for how you use it

You decide which pages to use and what to publish, and you're responsible for making sure that what you publish is lawful, including copyright, trade mark, consumer protection and advertising law. Ticking a box doesn't make a use lawful. If you're not sure, don't publish it, and take your own legal advice.

4. Complaints and takedown

Rights holders can report a page through our report form or by emailing support@pagemix.app. We review reports promptly, normally within 2 working days. If we uphold a report, we stop the related pages being downloaded again and tell you why, and you must remove the page from your store within 2 working days. We close accounts that receive repeated upheld reports, and may suspend or close an account sooner for serious or deliberate misuse.

5. Subscription, billing and credits

The Service is sold as monthly subscription plans, billed in advance by our payment provider, Stripe, and renewing automatically every month until you cancel:

Your first month on your first subscription is 40% off (£30, £48 or £90). From the second month the full monthly price above is charged on the same date each month. The amount due today and the monthly price that follows are shown before you pay.

Credits are added with each monthly payment, expire 30 days after they are added and have no cash value. A generation uses a fixed number of credits: Magic Remix 3, Format + Style 5, Multi-Reference 8, for up to 3 pages. "Another version" of a finished generation uses 1 credit per page. Credits are reserved when you start a generation; if no page is delivered (for example because it fails our checks), they are returned to your balance automatically. This is a credit restoration, not a money refund.

If a payment fails, Stripe retries it and you can't start new generations until it succeeds; your downloads stay available. You can cancel at any time from Billing in your account: your plan stays active until the end of the month you've paid for and isn't renewed. Payments already made are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise. We may change a plan's price or credit allowance with at least 30 days' notice by email.

6. Your Shopify store

The Service doesn't connect to your store. You upload the theme file yourself, and your use of Shopify is subject to Shopify's own terms. Review the theme in Shopify's preview before publishing it.

7. Acceptable use

Don't attempt to break, overload or reverse-engineer the Service, use it to reach systems or pages you aren't authorised to access, get around logins, paywalls or bot protection, share your account, or use it for anything unlawful. We may set fair-use limits to keep it running well for everyone.

8. No guarantee of a perfect result

Results are produced by AI and depend on the pages you provide. Some interactive widgets and third-party content can't be reproduced. The Service is provided "as is", and you should review every page before publishing it.

9. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability that can't be limited or excluded by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Otherwise, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for loss of profits, sales or data, or for indirect losses.

If you break section 2 or 3, you agree to cover the reasonable losses, costs and legal fees we incur as a result of claims by third parties, except to the extent the loss was caused by our own breach of these terms.

10. Ending the agreement

You can delete your account at any time by emailing us. We can suspend or end your access if you break these terms, giving notice where reasonable.

11. Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you're a consumer living elsewhere in the UK, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.
